Summer holiday workshops 2026

2 hours of story creation filled with play and creativity.

  • We will build story worlds through games and immersive story telling.
  • We will choose how to finish our stories. Happily, sadly, with a cliffhanger? Written, drawn or spoken?
  • We will enjoy each others' stories together.

Workshop 1: We're going to space!

10am–12pm, 29th July

BS3 Community (Southville Centre, Beauley Road)

Get your space suit, we're blasting off! What will we see? Is astronaut food tasty? Do aliens exist?!

Workshop 2: Is it a nice monster?

2pm–4pm, 25th August

BS3 Community (Chessell Centre, Chessell Street)

Let's pack our adventurer bags and go on safari — monster safari! Is it true all monsters are scary? Have you ever seen a monster? If we find one, what shall we do?

Workshop 3: Behind the magic door...

10am–12pm, 3rd September

BS3 Community (Southville Centre, Beauley Road)

Opening doors, boxes, windows and brains to find magical stories in everyday life.
